Jennifer Stano, originally from Westchester, NY, has taken her personal journey and transformed it into a mission to empower women. Known for her time in the spotlight as a Beverly Hills trophy wife, Jennifer has since become a leading advocate for women who choose to undergo explant surgery. Her new venture, Original Self (OGSLF), aims to help women embrace their natural selves confidently and healthily.
A Transformation Inspired by Personal Experience
Jennifer’s journey began in Westchester, where she faced the typical struggles of adolescence, exacerbated by teasing for her flat chest. At 18, seeking confidence and acceptance, she underwent breast augmentation. For 15 years, her implants provided the self-assurance she sought, but they also introduced unforeseen health risks.
In 2019, Jennifer made the difficult decision to explant, prioritizing her health over aesthetics. This pivotal moment led her to rediscover her original self and inspired her to create Original Self, also known as OGSLF. This brand was born from her deep understanding and empathy for women facing similar challenges, offering them a path to restore confidence without compromising health.
The Launch of Original Self
Original Self provides a range of products, including bras, sportswear, swimwear, and breast inserts, designed to cater to women of all shapes and sizes. While the brand offers specialized solutions for women who have undergone explant or mastectomy surgeries, it is inclusive and suitable for anyone. The sports and swim lines offer stylish and comfortable options that prioritize both aesthetics and well-being.
